How we work, and how we are paid
You pay Radiant Group nothing. This page says what that means, who does pay us, and what we do so that our advice stays yours to judge.
What it costs you
Nothing. We do not charge clients a fee for advice, for comparing plans, for arranging a car loan or for placing a policy.
Who pays us
When a policy or a loan goes through, the insurer or the lender pays us a commission. It is paid by them, and we do not add anything on top for you. The premium on a policy is set by the insurer, and the interest rate and charges on a loan are set by the lender.
What that means for our advice
Commission can differ from one insurer or lender to another, so there is an incentive that we should not pretend away. This is how we deal with it:
- We show the options side by side. We compare plans from the insurers we work with, or lenders' offers, and tell you why we would pick one over another.
- You can always ask why. If you want to know why we suggest an option, ask, and we will point to the wording or the terms it rests on.
- The decision is yours. We answer your questions and do not pressure you to decide.
Where our facts come from
We read each insurer's own policy wording and each lender's sanction letter, and we go by the rules of IRDAI and the RBI. A premium, a rate or a claims figure comes from one of those documents, never from memory or a guess.
What we cannot do
We do not lend money and we do not underwrite insurance. The lender decides whether a loan is approved, and the insurer decides a claim against your policy terms. So we cannot promise that a loan will be approved or that a claim will be paid. We can prepare the paperwork, follow up for you and stay with you until it is done.
What we will never ask you for
A card number, a PIN or an OTP. If anyone asks you for them in our name, do not share them, and call us on +91 94141 35272.
Who you will deal with
You deal with the same people each year, from our office in Jodhpur. They are introduced on the About page.
Questions about how we work
Do I pay Radiant Group anything?
No. Clients pay Radiant Group nothing: no fee for advice, for comparing plans, for arranging a car loan or for placing a policy.
How does Radiant Group make money?
When a policy or loan goes through, the insurer or lender pays Radiant Group a commission. It is paid by them and is not added to what you pay.
Does the commission affect your advice?
Commission can differ between insurers and lenders, so an incentive exists. We deal with it by showing the options side by side, explaining why we would pick one, and leaving the decision to you. You can ask us at any point why we suggest an option.
Is Radiant Group tied to one insurer?
No. We compare policies from the insurers listed on the Partners page and recommend the one that fits you.
Can you promise my loan will be approved or my claim paid?
No. The lender decides a loan and the insurer decides a claim, against your policy terms. We prepare the paperwork, follow up for you and stay with you until it is done.
Ask us anything before you decide
Send one message on WhatsApp with what you need. You will get an answer from an advisor, not a call centre.
